February

August 1, 2011

Now is a great time for a second look at many of our deciduous trees and shrubs. Even without their more showy foliage and flowers, many of our plants have something to contribute to the winter landscape. From the the impressive size and shape of some trees to the interesting bark characteristics of others a February visit is certainly worthwhile!

Here are some of our plants offering year-round interest:
Dawn Redwood, Lacebark Pine, London Plane Tree, Paperbark Maple, Parrotia, Seven-son Flower Tree, Stewartia
