The Food Network

August 15, 2015

Nineteenth century cookbook author Fanny Farmer, chef/restaurateurs Joyce Chen and Gian Franco Romagnoli, chocolate makers Walter Baker and William Schrafft,  hotel impresario Harvey Parker, of Boston’s famed Parker House, and grocery store pioneer Stephen Mugar, are just a few of the connections on Mount Auburn’s Food Network.  Mount Auburn is home to chefs, teachers, food entrepreneurs, inventors, horticulturalists, and some famous names who participated in the Harvard food “riots.”  Join Stephen Pinkerton and Marilee O’Brien for an indoor presentation in Story Chapel, to learn about those whose talent and innovations provided delicious and healthy food for us all.
