Mount Auburn has complimentary Veterans Flags available for select holidays. Flags can be procured from the front desk in the administration building (the brick building immediately inside the North entrance to the Cemetery on Mount Auburn Street). These flags are only to be used for placement at graves within the Cemetery. Please note the 2023 dates for flag availability, display, and removal below:

Memorial Day & Flag Day
Available starting May 15
Displayed until June 21
Removed June 22

Independence Day
Available starting June 27
Displayed until July 11
Removed July 12

Veterans Day
Available starting November 3
Displayed until November 18
Removed November 19
