Welcome Center & Gift Shop
The Welcome Center, located in the Egyptian Revival Gateway, is staffed each day between 9 AM and 4:30 PM. If you need assistance locating a grave or planning your itinerary, please make sure to stop in the Welcome Center during the hours when a staff member or a volunteer will be there to assist you.
The Gift Shop is open Mon - Sat, 10 AM - 3 PM: The Gift Shop is now open in the west lodge of the Egyptian Revival Gateway. There is a curated selection of gifts and mementos. Throughout the year, Mount Auburn’s Greenhouse produces seasonal cut flower arrangements for placement at graves and lots in the Cemetery. Flower arrangements are available for sale at the Gift Shop.
Administration Office
Our Administrative Office is open by appointment for questions about grave and lot care and other Cemetery business. Our staff is available to assist you with most questions by phone or email during regular office hours:

Washington Tower
Washington Tower, a landmark and popular attraction at Mount Auburn, was built from 1852-1854. A feature of the original plan for the Cemetery, Washington Tower was slated for the highest summit at Mount Auburn, 125 feet above the Charles River.
Opens April 1. 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Daily.
